JASPER COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A couple has been accused of stealing more the $57,700 from church, according to the Jasper County Sheriff's Office.

The JCSO said that on Sept 21., investigators were notified of a possible theft from a local church.

According to the release, the investigator found that a person acting as the church's treasurer had been using the church's debit card for fraudulent transactions without the consent of the church.
