Along with the upgraded turf and track at Longhorn Stadium, another new feature this school year can be found near the concession stand on the home side - a metal bench honoring the memory of former Early High School band director Travis Bryant.

Bryant passed away Sept. 17, 2024.

Dr. Daniel Vera, Director of Career Services at Howard Payne University, reached out to Jim Espinoza, Senior Admissions Advisor at TSTC Brownwood, regarding the construction of the bench.
