CHAPEL HILL, Texas (KLTV) - A Smith County constable and a citizen rescued Astro after finding him stuck in a concrete hole Wednesday in Chapel Hill.

Smith County Precinct 4 Constable Josh Joplin and a man identified as Mr. Lusk used a lariat rope to pull the dog out, video footage showed.

Joplin wrote in a Facebook post that Lusk was removing a tree from a fence when he heard a dog barking and whimpering.
