MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A fatal crash involving a big rig forced several lanes to close on the North Freeway in The Woodlands on Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.

According to Houston TranStar, the crash involving a heavy truck shut down the right shoulder and three lanes of northbound I-45.

The Conroe Police Department confirmed the crash killed one person, but did not provide further details.
