TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A monumental bronze rose honoring Tyler's rose-growing heritage will take a major step toward becoming a permanent part of the city's landscape Monday, Sept. 14, when its design rendering is unveiled at 11 a.m. at the Rose Garden Center.

The public is invited to the design reveal ceremony, which will be presided over by former City of Tyler Mayor Barbara Bass.

Known as "Tyler's Great American Rose," the monumental sculpture will celebrate the significance of the rose to Tyler and to America.
