The annual 4-H Special Hearts Show brought together 4-H members and children with special needs to the Comal County Fair on Wednesday for a fun and encouraging livestock showing experience.

As part of the show, kids with special needs are paired with 4-H members to learn more about the animals and get the opportunity to show them.

"It really makes your heart happy seeing all the kids get to be a part [of the event]," said Lauren Strom, the 4-H agent with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
