The Fredericksburg Battlin' Billies varsity football team accomplished something no other Billies squad has done in the past five years.

The Battlin' Billies (4-1, 2-0) defeated Austin LBJ, 35-7, Friday night at Nelson Field in Austin.

"This was an outstanding win for us and this is the first time that we have beat them," FHS Head Football Coach Bill Wilder said.
