The Republican Party of Kerr County's counsel is asking Judge Rob Kelly to declare candidate, Jeremy Walther who is running for Kerr County Precinct 2 against Rich Paces, ineligible under the Texas Election Code for the November 3rd election.

Kerr County Commissioners will hold an open meeting Thursday at 9:00 A.M. at the Kerr County Courthouse in the Commissioners' Courtroom.

Discussion and potential action shall occur regarding the engagement by Kerr County, Texas of the law firm of Bickerstaff Heath Delgado Acosta LLP of Austin, Texas, as outside counsel to represent the County and the Commissioners Court, regarding the disputed candidacy of Jeremy Walther, currently the alleged independent candidate for Kerr County Commissioner/Precinct 2.
