DENISON, Texas (KXII) - A local historian and author says the city of Denison has a haunted history that traces back to the town's founding.

Natalie Bauman said she has written eight ghost story books and has not covered everything."It's so haunted around here that I've done eight ghost story books like these and I haven't even cracked the surface of it yet. And Denison especially is haunted. It's just full of haunted stories," Bauman said.

The Rialto TheaterBauman said the Rialto Theater is the most haunted building in Denison."The Rialto is probably the most haunted building here. There's just so many specters in the Rialto Theater that you just can't describe them all. Nobody even knows how many ghosts are in the Rialto Theater. Some are nice, some are not so nice. It just depends on where you are in the building," Bauman said.
