ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - A springtime "round up" campaign at local Kent Kwik stores brought in $116,630 for the Permian Basin Re-Ability Center (PBRC), after customers chose to round their purchases up to the nearest dollar between March 23 and May 30.
The donations were collected at Kent Kwik locations across the area, with the extra change going directly to PBRC to support services for children and adults throughout West Texas.
The fundraiser is part of PBRC's ongoing partnership with The Kent Companies, which has supported the nonprofit for more than 20 years."All the services that PBRC provides, they just help so many families and we know 100% that the funds that we raise and the funds that our guests donate will stay locally here in the Permian Basin and help families in West Texas," said Katie Roberts, director of corporate communications for The Kent Companies.
