An 11-year-old child died in Fort Bend County after colliding with a vehicle while riding an e-scooter near Katy.

FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says a child has died, a day after colliding with a vehicle while on an e-scooter near Katy.

It happened in the 26600 block of Roesner Road.

Deputies were called at approximately 5:09 p.m. Thursday.
