Authorities discovered the body of an adult male near the shoreline of Canyon Lake Sunday morning after the Comal County Sheriff's Office Marine Enforcement Unit responded to a report of a deceased person in the water.

The body was located around 10:45 a.m. in the area of Canyon Park Road, according to a CCSO release.

The individual has not yet been identified.
