LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Animal control officers captured a bobcat that found itself in the middle of a Longview manufacturing plant, the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center announced Thursday.

Officers responded around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to the "rather unusual" call at the Komatsu property, located at 2400 S. MacArthur St. in Longview.

Officers were able to safely locate and secure the medium-sized wild cat before relocating it to "a more suitable habitat," the department said in a release."While he may look like an oversized house cat, we can assure you that he was not interested in pets, treats or becoming anyone's new coworker," the department said in a release.
