PITTSBURG, Texas (KLTV) - The Pittsburg City Council recognized members of the Camp County 4-H for their assistance in July during the flooding of the Frio River in Concan.

Traveling for a state competition, the group found themselves trapped due to rapidly rising water in the Hill Country.

Emily Marks, a coach and club manager for 4-H, said she knew it was going to rain, but the speed at which the Frio River rose came as a surprise.
