The Rising Star Lady Cats, as well as Blanket Tiger Leo Valdes, all qualified for the UIL Class A Cross Country State Championships based on their efforts at the Region III-A meet here Tuesday.

The Lady Cats placed third as a team with 105 points, trailing only Saint Jo (70) and Satillo (71).

Competing for the Lady Cats were Delilah Thomas (2nd, 12:58. 0), Keleigh Evans (9th, 13:16. 5), Laynee Allgood (20th, 13:44. 2), Savannah Thomas (38th, 14:34. 2), Addison Welch (67th, 15:48. 5), Sophia Keeling (68th, 15:48. 8), and Barbie Reyes (109th, 18:08. 6).
