With five victories in their first six outings, the Early Longhorns have started the season with plenty of positive momentum.

On Friday, second-year head coach Marvin Wilson's squad has a chance to grab an early share of the District 3-3A Division I lead at San Angelo TLCA ahead of their bye and a grueling three-game stretch to wrap up league play.

Kickoff between the Longhorns (5-1) and the Eagles (2-4) is slated for 7 p.m. in San Angelo.
