ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - FIRST ALERT 7 Forecast for Thursday, August 27th, 2026: Tracking the chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night into Thursday across West Texas and southeast New Mexico.

This will result in milder daytime highs across the region.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTA cluster of showers and thunderstorms are still forecast to dive southeast out of southeast New Mexico Wednesday night, with the best chance of rain arriving to the Permian Basin from 1 AM to sunrise on Thursday.
