The Big Spring Lady Steers picked up an important District 5-4A victory Saturday, defeating Snyder in four sets at Steer Gym.

Big Spring dropped a tight opening set, 25-22, before responding to win the next three, 25-17, 25-22 and 25-23, to close out the match.

The victory improves Big Spring to 14-13 overall and 1-1 in district play.
