POTTSBORO, Texas (KXII) - One Texoma student is starting the school year in style after finding out he received a perfect STAAR test score."It was very shocking," said Pottsboro Middle School student Tarcy Sexton.

That's how 11-year-old Tarcy described the moment he found out he had done the near impossible, received a perfect score on his science STAAR test."To find out that I had gotten those scores, I didn't expect that," Tarcy said.

He said he spent all year preparing for the math, science and reading tests, and made his own PowerPoints and Quizlets.
