PASADENA, Texas - Unusual flaring and black smoke were reported Monday afternoon at the TPC Group Houston Operations facility in Pasadena following a power outage, according to the City of Pasadena.

The facility is located at 8600 Park Place Blvd. As of a 4:45 p.m. update, officials said the facility was working to safely restore power while air monitoring was underway.

There is no believed impact to the surrounding community at this time, officials said.
