Geneva School of Boerne did some good things in last Friday's football game at Brazos Christian, but they also made some mistakes and those are the things Eagles head coach Adam Foren wants to clean up before this Friday's district contest against Corpus Christi John Paul II. Kickoff for Friday's contest between Geneva (4-1, 0-1) and Corpus Christi John Paul II (0-5, -01) is set for 7 p.m. in Boerne.

The Eagles suffered their first loss of the season at Brazos Christian in their district opener, 49-23, but on the bright side they had almost 500 yards of total offense after they threw for 418 and ran for 76.

But Geneva also turned it over four times after Brazos Christian came up with three interceptions and a fumble.
