San Antonio police are searching for a man who may have been shot by his girlfriend overnight on the city's North Side.

Officers responded to the shooting just after 3 a.m. Monday in the 3800 block of West Ave., not far from Dresden Drive.

According to SAPD, a woman called police saying she shot her boyfriend.
