The San Antonio Police Department has identified the suspect arrested in connection with a downtown shooting that left a man critically injured.

An SAPD spokesperson identified the suspect as Charles Maverick Lenz, 19.

Bexar County court records show that Lenz faces the following charges: Officers were dispatched to the shooting around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, in the 1100 block of Hemisfair Plaza Way, near Civic Park at Hemisfair.
