(KGNS) - Over 600 United ISD elementary students are spending the day at a different campus after air conditioning problems were discovered at Prez Elementary just before the first bell.

Staff and students from Prez Elementary in south Laredo were bused across town Thursday morning, Sept. 17, along Loop 20 to the former Amparo Gutierrez Elementary campus.

The Prez Elementary air conditioning issue was discussed Wednesday night, Sept. 16, at the UISD board meeting.
