BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Producers Cooperative Association is donating $5,000 to the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
The gift includes $2,500 from Producers and a matching $2,500 from Land O'Lakes.
The money will support the food bank's mission to end hunger and put nutritious food on tables across the Brazos Valley."Supporting the Brazos Valley Food Bank is a natural fit for Producers. We serve the farmers and ranchers who grow the food that goes to those in need. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Brazos Valley Food Bank and contribute to their important mission of providing food and hope to families across our region," said Board Chairman John Malazzo."Generous partners like Producer's Cooperative and Land O'Lakes understand that strengthening our community starts with making sure our neighbors have access to the food they need. We are deeply grateful for this financial investment in the Brazos Valley Food Bank and for their commitment to helping us reach families, children, seniors, and individuals across our region. Their support allows us to turn generosity into meaningful impact- putting nutritious food on tables and helping our neighbors move toward greater stability," said Theresa Mangapora, executive director of the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
