CHEROKEE COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Flames engulfed a Cherokee County plant nursery building Tuesday night, sending columns of black smoke billowing into the sky.

Hot spots remain at Altman Plants after the blaze broke out around 6:30 p.m. Around six fire crews responded and spent the night working to contain the burn, according to representatives of the business.

They say most of the fire was contained to one building used primarily to mix soil.
