NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - The Piney Woods chapter of the National AMBUCS plans to kick off its first annual "Trick Your Tryke" fundraiser Saturday at the Nacogdoches Expo Center.

Combining family-friendly activities with a mission to support adaptive mobility, the fundraiser supports AMBUCS in providing customized Amtrykes, a specialized tricycle tailored to people with disabilities."We want everybody to feel like everybody's equal, whether you have a disability or not," said Erica Trim, physical therapist and president of Piney Woods AMBUCS.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own trikes, wagons, wheelchairs or scooters to join the fun, which features a motorcycle benefit ride, a bike show, a petting zoo, a sensory room and more than 60 vendors.
