MONAHANS, Texas (KOSA) - Even though it was midnight practice at Monahans, there's a new dawn on the horizon for the loboes.

Head Coach Brandon Jones made the move from assistant coach to head coach and athletic director ahead of this upcoming season.

With that change, Jones looks forward to the football season that lies ahead."Oh I'm so excited this is something we've talked about doing for a long time. I just, I just can't wait to get the season started, it's like Christmas morning to me and so this is awesome." Jones leads a team that finished their 2025 schedule 1-10, which is something they want to leave behind.
