Cameron County begins a $30 million Old Alice Road expansion project to reconstruct the intersection of Papaya Drive and Old Alice Road in Los Fresnos and improve connections to Brownsville.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) -- Cameron County Judge Eddie Trevino, Jr. hosted a ceremony on Monday for the Old Alice Road expansion project.

The $30 million project will involve reconstructing the intersection of Papaya Drive and Old Alice Road in Los Fresnos to improve the connection between Brownsville.
