SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - A Sherman man was arrested early Wednesday morning after officers allegedly caught him burglarizing vehicles near Austin College.

Kevin Lewis, 18, was booked into the Grayson County Jail faces several charges:4 counts of burglary of a vehiclePossession of marijuanaPossession of controlled substance Evading arrest or detentionResist arrest, search, or transportFailure to identify as a fugitiveAn outstanding warrant from another agencyAccording to the Sherman Police Department, Lewis was arrested when patrol officers gave chase on foot after seeing him pulling on vehicle door handles near Maxey Street and Orange Street at around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Lewis was taken to the ground after an officer tasered him.
