A multiagency probe led to two arrests and seizures of narcotics, firearms and cash in Taylor and Elgin this past week, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office said Friday.
The five-month investigation targeting the manufacture and distribution of illicit substances resulted in warrants being served July 23 in the 100 block of West Point Way in Elgin and the 400 block of Gano Street in Taylor, deputies said in a release.
According to the July 24 statement, the Taylor site "was identified as a location where (a suspect) was allegedly distributing narcotics. Further investigation also indicated that narcotics were being stored at this residence." According to the Sheriff's Office, a 34-year-old man who lived at the Elgin residence is charged with the manufacture/delivery of methamphetamine and cocaine, and marijuana possession.
