HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- "When I say Disney, you say dreamers!" That was one of just many chants bursting with excitement as 50 students lined up for the conga line during the Disney Dreamers Academy kickoff party, celebrating the program's new partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs.

"It takes a community. It takes all of us to make a meaningful difference, and at Disney we believe the exact same thing, so we are so grateful to meet all of you," said Tajiana Ancora-Brown, Director of External Affairs at Disney.

"It's important for us to know that you have all the support as well." Houston - area 7th grade students had the opportunity to get a taste of the Disney theme parks without having to leave Texas, with much of the magic coming to them inside the Fresno Boys & Girls Club.
