Heart of the Hills Heritage Center and community partners have announced a full calendar of free programs and events celebrating Hispanic heritage this fall.

The Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library, Community Arts Program, Doyle Community Center, Heart of the Hills Heritage Center and Schreiner University developed a wide range of opportunities to gather as a community and discover the Hispanic heritage that has shaped Kerrville history for generations.

The Doyle Community Center kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday, Sept. 12, with the Diecisis Celebration, which honored Mexican Independence Day with a family-friendly afternoon of food, games and activities.
