WACO, Texas (KWTX/Gray News) - A former Texas high school teacher who had sexual encounters with two teenage boys was placed on deferred probation Friday.

Judge Thomas West of the 19th State District Court approved a plea agreement between Shelby Dawn Lashombe and the McLennan County District Attorney's Office.

The district attorney recommended that West place Lashombe on deferred probation for six years and fine her $1,000.
