The Fredericksburg High School boys and girls varsity tennis team opened up the season Tuesday in San Marcos with full results expected in next week's edition of the paper.

Next, the FHS Tennis team will play against Gregory-Portland and Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial at H.E. Butt Park in Corpus Christi on Thursday, Aug. 6. The tennis team will stay in Corpus Christi and face Corpus Christi Flour Bluff at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Flour Bluff High School in Corpus Christi.
