During Monday night's meeting, the Bangs City Council - comprised of Eric Bishop, Danny Marney and Mayor Pro Temp Carrol Wells - unanimously approved a one-year agreement with the option to renew, effective Oct. 1, with McGee, Davis & Pond Bookkeeping Advisors out of Buffalo Gap for fractional controller services.

Reilly McGee of McGee, Davis & Pond presented the City's financial review, and shared information about the services the company could provide.

One option was a one-time cleanup that would require 83 to 113 hours of work, and the other was the fractional controller services, which will provide an estimated 18 to 26 hours of work per month on the City's finances.
