Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages has completed a major expansion of its South Central Texas bottling plant.

The company marked the milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the expanded plant on the East Side, representing a $42 million investment and Coca-Cola Southwest's commitment to San Antonio after 60 years of operation.

According to a news release, the expansion includes 170,000 square feet of new space, nearly doubling the facility's size.
