The Heritage Museum of Big Spring is inviting the community to step into history this weekend as its popularNight at the Museumreturns Saturday evening with living history presentations, food, music and interactive exhibits designed to bring Howard County's past to life.

During an interview on Big Spring Today, Heritage Museum representative Tammy Schrecengost said this year's event has become even more accessible after a local donor stepped forward to cover admission costs, making the fundraiser free for everyone to attend.

The event will be held Saturday, Aug. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Heritage Museum.
