Severe lightning and weather delays forced officials to suspend Center Point's road football game at Schertz John Paul II before halftime, with JP II leading the Pirates 21-6.
Conor Holt's 95-yard kickoff return accounted for the Pirates' only score and came after JP II had taken a 13-0 lead.
JP II scored once more and added two points before officials called the game.
