Provided by City of LubbockBeginning Monday, October 5, 2026, FC Traffic Control will close 72nd Street between Kewanee Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue for Atmos Energy to perform work on a gas line.

The work is scheduled to be completed by October 14th, weather permitting.

The City urges motorists to use an alternate route if possible, eliminate distractions, and plan for extra travel time when driving through the area.
