TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Tyler adopted a $287 million budget and approved a half-penny increase to its property tax for the upcoming fiscal year.
City Council members voted to approve the budget in a 4-2 vote, with councilmembers Shonda Marsh and Petra Hawkins voting in opposition.
Hawkins mentioned concerned about budget cuts to NETHealth.
