JEFFERSON, Texas (KLTV) - Five families were displaced after a fire burned their apartments on Sunday in the early morning.

At approximately 2 a.m. on September 13, emergency responders were called to an apartment fire located at 1301 MLK Drive in Jefferson.

The fire affected five families, four of which have children, the Jefferson Police Department said in a press release.
