Texas Music Festival Enterprise has invited Uvalde High School's Mariachis Los Coyotes to perform at Carnegie Hall next summer as part of the National Orchestra Invitational, and the student musicians need to raise $70,000 to cover travel costs.

The group is set to play the Stern Auditorium Stage on June 10, 2027.

Willie Perez, TMF coordinator, invited the group and praised their "outstanding reputation, artistic excellence, and commitment to preserving the rich tradition of mariachi music." They will perform in the Honors Concert Series, which celebrates the heritage and legacy of Mexican music.
