The city of San Antonio is continuing its investment in bike lanes.

Credit: Wikimedia Commons / Kenneth C. Zirkel San Antonio's Transportation Department celebrated the opening of the Camden Street bike lanes Thursday, a new path intended to make it more convenient for bicyclists to visit the Pearl and other center-city destinations.

Though the new stretch is just 0. 4 miles long, the protected bike lanes make it safer and easier for cyclists to reach the Pearl Brewery and its surrounding businesses, city officials said.
