A New Braunfels neighborhood near Highway 46 was the scene of a police and SWAT response Tuesday morning that ended with subjects detained, officials said.

The New Braunfels Police Department responded to a call for service in the 1000 block of Stone Trail at approximately 4:20 a.m. The New Braunfels SWAT team was called to the scene to assist in the response while the Criminal Investigation Division obtained a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the police department.

Once the warrant was obtained, the subjects were detained without further incident, according to NBPD.
