Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies were fired upon by a teenage suspect Tuesday evening while responding to a family disturbance call on the west side of Houston.

The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on July 29, 2026, at a complex located at 14906 Westpark Drive.

Deputies were called to the scene in reference to a family disturbance with a weapon involved.
