WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A juvenile offender traded the juvenile detention facility for the McLennan County Jail after attacking and injuring a male corrections officer, arrest warrants obtained by KWTX state.

Jazlyn Arce, 17, is charged with assault on a public servant.

Arce allegedly attacked the officer at the Mart State Juvenile Corrections Facility on July 2.
