HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - The Harris County Sheriff's Office says a 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into the death of an 18-year-old and the fentanyl overdose of a 16-year-old.

The sheriff's office says the investigation into Avery Williams began on January 10.

It is alleged Williams gave powder fentanyl to a group of teenagers, leading to the death of 18-year-old Logan Ricks and the overdose of a 16-year -old, who survived after being transported for medical treatment.
