GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) - Residents near Collinsville have raised $165,000 to pave three Grayson County roads after county commissioners said tight budgets could not justify the work.

Dust from white gravel roads in the area has made driving difficult, according to David Sullivan, who helped raise the funds.

Sullivan has lived in the area for five to six years and said the roads have long been in poor condition."You actually have to come to a complete stop, let the dust blow by to go on because it'll get so thick that you can't even see," Sullivan said.
