LAREDO, Texas - A man accused of sexually assaulting a child in Reno, Nevada was arrested at the Texas border after federal officials said he was caught trying to leave the country.

What we know: The suspect, Juan Elizondo Delgado, 34, was found by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers on Sept. 29 at the Laredo Port of Entry.

Authorities said Delgado was trying to cross into Mexico aboard a commercial bus on the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge.
